For sale is a rare model Ev6010 with Hondas twin cylinder water cooled engine. It is a 6,000 watt generator at 120vac. These are used in Work Trucks, Toy Haulers, Trailers and Motor Homes where there are one or two air conditioners. This would be an outstanding addition to a work truck or RV. They are designed to run many thousands of hours.
These are physically smaller than other 6000 watt RV generators and will often fit in the space of a 4000.
It looks and runs great. The carburetor was rebuilt and the slip rings cleaned, the brushes are at new length , oil and filter changed, it has new coolant and a new air filter. The valves have been adjusted. The stator has been rewound with mil spec high temp wire. The internal battery charger has been disconnect to prevent future stator failures. The oil pan and oil pump seals have been changed to guarantee no leaking. It is all ready to install and go to work.
It comes with an almost new $350 Honda exhaust system.
It has been run for several hours at full load on a load bank and is ready to give years of service. They run at 3600rpm and have a pressure feed oil system with an oil filter like your car. This engine is widely recognized as one of the best examples of Honda quality.
