We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Cook to join our kitchen production team.
Job Responsibilities
The Cook must be able to learn, understand, and consistently execute our menus and kitchen procedures with pride, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities:
Learn and follow our breakfast and lunch menus.
Breakfast preparation, execution, and delivery are a daily priority.
Prepare food according to established recipes, portions, and production standards.
Follow all TCS procedures and maintain disciplined food-handling practices, especially when preparing meals for high-risk populations.
Maintain proper food preparation, storage, rotation, and organization.
Keep accurate track of products and ingredients used for both breakfast and lunch production.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
Follow food safety and sanitation requirements at all times.
Demonstrate basic knife skills and basic cooking skills. Advanced culinary skills and experience are a plus.
Work efficiently while maintaining consistent quality and portion control.
Be willing to work as part of a team and maintain a “Yes, Chef” attitude.
Support the other cook with daily kitchen duties and production needs.
Assist with lunch preparation and production.
Pan out and prepare food for the following day's production.
Perform other kitchen and food-production tasks as needed to support daily operations.
Qualifications
Previous commercial kitchen or food-service experience preferred.
Basic cooking and knife skills required.
Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and instructions consistently.
Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production kitchen.
Assist executive chef with catering responsibilities.
