We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Electronics Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with electronics, troubleshooting equipment, preparing products for resale, and working in a fast-paced environment.
The technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, cleaning, refurbishing, and preparing electronic equipment for shipment. Experience working with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, batteries, power equipment, or related electronics is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with their hands.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming electronic equipment for physical damage, wear, and overall condition.
Test and evaluate batteries, including checking battery condition and voltage.
Remove and replace batteries in UPS systems and other electronic equipment.
Perform basic troubleshooting and functional testing of electronic equipment.
Inspect power cords, plugs, connectors, displays, fans, and other components.
Clean, refurbish, sand, and paint equipment as needed to improve its overall appearance.
Prepare equipment for resale by ensuring units are clean, functional, and presentable.
Re-package equipment using appropriate boxes, protective materials, and packaging methods.
Safely move, organize, and stage equipment throughout the facility.
Assist with receiving, inventory organization, labeling, and shipping preparation.
Follow established testing, inspection, and quality-control procedures.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Document testing results, repairs, and equipment condition when required.
Work independently while also being able to work effectively as part of a team.
Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as an electronics technician, repair technician, UPS technician, or similar position is preferred.
UPS experience is a strong plus, particularly with APC, Eaton, Vertiv, Tripp Lite, or similar equipment.
Basic understanding of electronics, batteries, electrical components, and power equipment.
Comfortable using basic hand tools and testing equipment.
Strong computer skills and generally tech-savvy.
Ability to learn new equipment, software, and testing procedures quickly.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damaged or defective components.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Must be comfortable performing repetitive hands-on tasks.
Must be able to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 100 lbs., with appropriate assistance or equipment when required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work on equipment throughout the workday.
Previous warehouse, electronics, industrial equipment, or refurbishment experience is a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. There is no remote work for this position.
