Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead drywall installers, finishers, and laborers on job sites
Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities to meet project deadlines
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Coordinate drywall work with other trades and site supervisors
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and building codes are met
Identify and resolve job site issues and delays
Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Conduct safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment
Track labor hours, materials, and project progress
Order materials and manage inventory to avoid shortages or waste
Train and mentor crew members
Qualifications
Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing
Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
Leadership and team management skills
Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of workplace safety standards (OSHA)
