I'm in the process of completing the lineup of an Alternative Rock/Rock cover band based in Hoffman Estates (near Woodfield Mall) and needed is the following:
-A skilled drummer, with or without backing vocals
The band's catalog emphasis will be on the 90s-current, but there will likely be a few outliers from the 70s and 80s (maybe even the 60s). This band will be adopting a no-nonsense approach, which will include:
-Relatively infrequent rehearsal sessions. The rationale behind this is that members do their due diligence at home and show up for rehearsal ready to play. I know that, with the right personnel, this is doable.
Interested? Let's talk. You can reach me either by phone or through CL. For more info, go to Bandmix.com and look up the band profile Beyondthe90s. You'll find a few rough demo videos with the lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist and myself (lead guitar) playin/singing to drum/bass backing tracks.
