Up for sale is my 1988 BMW E28 M5, finished in the extremely rare Black on Black color combination.
Only 1,340 E28 M5s were built for the North American market. Of those, just 101 left the factory with a black leather interior—71 were delivered to Canada and only 30 to the U.S. This makes it one of the rarest North American E28 M5 specifications. (Hagerty)
Under the hood is the legendary hand-built 3.5L S38B35 DOHC 24-valve inline-6, producing 256 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The S38 is derived from the BMW M1 supercar engine and is considered one of BMW M’s greatest powerplants. NON RUNNER
