Description:
Looking for a clean, solid platform for a project or build? This is a 2000 Ford Mustang coupe equipped with a 3.8L V6 engine and a desirable 5-speed manual transmission. Mileage is 149600. Only two owners, I bought it in 2014 with 117,000 miles and drove it only to work and shop until 2022, I am 66 now and time to let her go to someone else who will hopefully enjoy it as much as I did.
The absolute best feature of this car is the chassis: it is a 100% Florida car that has seen absolutely zero New England snow or road salt. The undercarriage, frame rails, and under-hood areas are excellent and completely rust-free—a rare find in New Hampshire.
The car has been safely parked for a while due to physical limitations preventing its use, but it has a ton of brand-new parts installed right before it was brought up here.
Brand New Parts & Add-Ons Installed:
Full Clutch Assembly: Entirely brand new clutch system.
Suspension: Brand new struts installed.
Exhaust: New custom exhaust setup, including a new muffler and tailpipe.
Engine Bay: Brand new oil drip pan.
Lighting: Brand new clear headlights.
Trunk: New hydraulic lift struts for the trunk lid.
Condition Details:
Mechanical: Engine and 5-speed manual transmission were running great when parked. Will likely need fresh gas, a new battery, and a standard fluid flush before regular driving due to sitting.
Exterior: The body is straight and solid, but the clear coat/paint has faded. It will need to be sanded and painted.
Interior: Needs to be cleaned up or redone (seats/carpet showing age/wear). Cloth interior.
