Homeless. Just me and my dog. No family. Stranded in the Lumberton area.
I never thought I’d be writing something like this.
But here I am — without a place to sleep, without steady work, and with only my dog left beside me.
No family to turn to. Nowhere else to go.
I’ve been applying. I’ve been trying.
Some days the only thing keeping me going is the quiet company of my dog and the hope that something might still change.
I’m not looking for a handout.
I’m looking for a chance.
A job. A lead. A few hours of honest work.
Somewhere safe for the night. A little help so we can both make it through.
If you know of work in the Lumberton area, or if you can spare even a little help, it would mean more than you know.
It’s just me and my dog now.
We’re still here.
Still willing.
Still trying.
I don’t have transportation and it’s a huge problem!
I’m becoming very overwhelmed with messages because I don’t know who it’s real and who is a spam or scam. Thank you to the ones reaching out.
