I. Product Definition and Core Functions
The clay slab machine (also known as the clay sheet press) is a core device in ceramic art creation. It quickly presses clay into uniform thickness and dense clay slabs through the gap between the double rollers / cylinders and the support plate. It can replace manual clay rolling, significantly improving efficiency and ensuring consistent thickness of the clay slabs. It is a fundamental tool for clay slab forming techniques such as coiling, joining, relief, and surface decoration.
II. Working Principle
Manually adjust the distance between the upper and lower rollers (or the rollers and the support plate) to set the target thickness of the clay sheet;
Place the kneaded and flattened clay on the sliding board / support plate;
Push the sliding board or turn the handwheel to make the clay pass through the rollers at a uniform speed;
The rollers squeeze out the air bubbles in the clay, forming a flat and precisely thick clay sheet.
