Hawthorne, CA
New precision aerospace and defense machine shop building out its facility. Our controlled data sits in a managed CMMC enclave — we need someone to set up the on-site hardware and network around it. Work starts ahead of a November equipment install.
Skills required
Firewall configuration and VLAN segmentation in production
Switching, PoE, wireless, rack and cabling
Endpoint provisioning and hardening — Windows, macOS, Linux
MFA and hardware security key deployment
CMMC Level 2 / NIST SP 800-171 Rev 2 — specifically what stays with the customer when a managed enclave covers hosting
Prior ITAR environment experience
On-site in Hawthorne
Helpful
Worked alongside a managed CMMC or GCC-High enclave
Industrial or OT networks — CNC controls, DNC
Comfortable being the entire IT function for a small company
No machining knowledge needed.
Contract. Fixed-fee preferred, hourly with a cap considered. Interested in ongoing support after cutover — quote separately.
