This channel strip is a British made genuine SSL preamp/ EQ /converter with "lite limiter," with "variable harmonic drive" available on the preamp.

Included, for the asking price, is a Tascam 2488 recorder which can be used as a bit bucket for the SSL, when used with the SSL converter. This is the original model with general midi. Also included is a binder full of information, and the 2488 professionally done DVD tutorial.

There is no standalone recorder mixer that I know of that will give you what this combo can.

And not for nothing, they are aesthetically similar and pleasing. No patch bays or excessive cords, just a world class front end into 24 tracks with 24-bit resolution.

Thanks for taking a look at this.
