GEN X VOCALIST ISO established band, startup, or individual collaborators for covers, originals, or a mix of both. Goal is playing out 2-3 times per month.
MY EXPERIENCE
Singing seriously for about 6 years. Full disclosure: I have never been in a "real" band.
Spent about 3 years hitting open mics regularly.
Past 2-3 years part of an Academy of Rock Music band with regular gigs and acoustic sets.
Gained a lot of harmony experience working closely with a female vocalist.
Active in a neighborhood jam group for around 5 years, exposed to a wide range of instruments, classic styles, and harmony.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
My wheelhouse includes 80s, 90s, and 2000s rock, classic rock, modern adult contemporary, garage rock, grunge, and a bit of heavier rock, classic country, rockabilly, R&B, and blues.
WHAT I OFFER
Professional attitude and solid work ethic. I take commitments seriously.
Comfortable, confident front man; always improving performance and stage presence.
Baritone vocal range with accessible tenor. Fewer miles on my voice than many my age.
Can contribute hand percussion and simple harmonica riffs.
Large archive of original lyrics; open to collaborating with someone skilled in melody creation.
Ability to record basic tracks at home and collaborate remotely if needed.
Have my own wireless in-ear monitoring gear ready for live stage use if the sound setup permits.

THE PLAN
While my experience is rooted in open mics, jam groups, and performance academies rather than decades on the bar circuit, I bring an injection of drive, consistency, and a fresh voice to the table. I am looking to connect with the right musicians to build something tight, fun, and memorable. Give me a couple of months of solid rehearsals to lock in a setlist, and I will be 100% ready to deliver. If the vibe is right, I'm all in.
