VSRS Services is looking for reliable, dependable people who are ready to work and want the opportunity to make good money delivering packages in and around Hammond. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
You don't need years of delivery experience to get started. If you're willing to show up, work, and learn, we're willing to give you a chance.
What the Job Looks Like
Shifts start at 6:00 AM. You'll come to our Hammond warehouse (ZIP 70403), sort your packages, load them into your vehicle, and head out on your route. You'll use your smartphone and our delivery app to navigate, scan packages, and track your deliveries.
Routes cover Hammond and surrounding areas, including ZIP codes 70401, 70403, 70433, 70447, 70455, and 70466. Routes typically have 70 to 150 stops, though volume varies. Drivers who are willing, efficient, and capable can take on 200 or more packages a day. Shifts take 3 to 6 hours on average. You don't have to be the fastest driver on day one. We're looking for people who are willing to learn, improve, and put in the work.
You'll work independently for most of the day, so you need to be able to manage yourself and stay on task without someone standing over you.
Pay
Pay is based on successfully completed delivery stops. Drivers may earn $1,500 or more per week depending on route availability, delivery volume, and the number of days worked. Weekly earnings are not guaranteed.
Schedule
We operate 7 days a week. Shifts start at 6:00 AM and take 3 to 6 hours on average, and you choose the days you're available. Whether you want extra income, something to work around another job, or serious hours to earn more, we want to talk to you.
We're Looking For People Who:
Can arrive on time for a 6:00 AM start
Have a reliable personal vehicle
Have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
Have a smartphone
Can lift, sort, and carry packages safely
Can stay organized and manage their time
Are comfortable driving and working independently
Provide dependable, professional service
Have a good attitude and are willing to learn
Previous delivery experience is NOT required.
Important
This is an in-person, independent contractor (1099) opportunity. Apply only if you can pick up packages at our Hammond, LA warehouse and deliver in at least one of the listed ZIP codes in and around Hammond.
