Stunning late 1800s Victorian conversation settee (tete-a-tete), circa 1880-1900. Frame is carved dark mahogany/walnut with pierced carving and genuine floral marquetry inlay. One end is an open carved chair-back - this is the ORIGINAL Aesthetic Movement design, NOT damage. Reupholstered in silver-grey croc-embossed velvet, button-tufted. Approx 64" L x 30" D. Fully finished back, so it floats in a room. Rear saber legs on casters.
