Part-Time | Early Morning Availability Required
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and hands-on Part-Time Handyman to join our team at a busy Restaurant / Family Entertainment Center. This position is responsible for maintaining the facility, completing repairs, and helping ensure that the building, equipment, and guest areas remain safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained.
Early morning availability is required, as many maintenance tasks need to be completed before the facility opens to guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the facility
* Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and mechanical issues
* Repair and maintain doors, fixtures, furniture, walls, ceilings, and other building components
* Perform preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become larger problems
* Assist with maintenance and upkeep of restaurant and entertainment areas
* Complete maintenance projects during early morning hours before opening
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility issues
* Work with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required
* Maintain appropriate tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
* Follow all safety procedures and company standards
* Complete additional maintenance projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
* Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work, facilities maintenance, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
* Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions
* Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
* Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs
* Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
* Reliable, dependable, and punctual
* **Must be available to work early morning shifts**
* Good communication and organizational skills
* Ability to safely lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance tasks
* Previous experience in a restaurant, entertainment venue, retail, hotel, or commercial facility is a plus
