My name is Dave. I have been playing drums for over 35 years. I have studio experience, playing many live venues including Portland’s Roseland Theater. I have played with Jazz bands, Hard Rock, Nu-Metal, Industrial bands, Country bands and Funk R&B bands. I currently do occasional gigs with a local country rock/folk group, but I am really wanting to get together with good musicians and play Grateful Dead music, Jam music, Swing Jazz, or Funk. My influences are The Dead, Parliament Funkadelic, Miles Davis, Santana, Duke Ellington, and Dave Matthews Band, and The Decemberists just to name a very small handful.
