Selling a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with a clean Oregon title. It has 212,000 original miles, which is very low for its age. Features the powerful 4.7L V8 engine, power windows, and heated leather seats. The interior is in great shape but there is a rip on drivers seat, and the body is solid overall, the hood has a dent in it, not from an accident, but from an object falling out of the rafters in the garage onto it. Jeep Rubicon Wheels & Oversized Tires: lots of tread left. The wheels and tires alone are worth a huge chunk of my $1,800 asking price! It also has a Roof Rack a solid ready for gear. Comes with two key fobs. One used to work perfectly—it likely just needs a quick battery replacement (I never bought a replacement battery). The second one is a spare I grabbed from a U-Pull-It yard that just needs to be programmed to the Jeep.
The Good:
• Runs and drives great
• Strong 4.7L V8 -4x4 system
• Low mileage for a 2001 (212k)
• Oversized tires with great tread
• Interior is in good condition
• Clean Title in hand
The Projects (Priced low as a Mechanic's Special):
• Ignition & Key: The key broke off inside the ignition. You can still easily start and drive it by using the end of the broken key piece, but it will eventually need a new ignition cylinder and key.
• Electrical Short: There is a slow battery drain. If driven daily it’s fine, but if it sits for a day or two, the battery dies.
• A/C: The air conditioning does not work.
• Tags: It needs current tags. It should pass DEQ just fine, we just decided we aren't putting any more money into a spare vehicle.
This is a perfect mechanic's special, trail rig, hunting rig, or a great vehicle for someone handy who can easily track down a short and swap an ignition cylinder.
Price: $1,800. Strictly CASH ONLY. No trades. Sold as-is. Serious inquiries only.
