Elizabeth Residence is a family of Wisconsin assisted living communities dedicated to providing a warm, safe, and
comfortable home for our residents. We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Technician to help keep our
locations running smoothly — and to help us maintain the kind of safe, well-cared-for environment our residents and families
count on.
What You'll Do
● Handle day-to-day repairs and preventive maintenance — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general
building upkeep.
● Keep fire, safety, and life-safety systems in good working order.
● Take care of the grounds — snow removal, lawn care, and keeping walkways safe for residents.
● Respond to maintenance requests quickly and keep good records of completed work.
● Handle light carpentry, painting, drywall, and flooring repairs.
● Coordinate with outside contractors for bigger jobs.
● Be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
● Travel between our Wisconsin locations (Franklin, New Berlin, Oak Creek, Bayside, and Racine) as needed.
What We're Looking For
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● 1–2 years of maintenance, facilities, or trade experience preferred.
● Comfortable with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
● Valid Wisconsin driver's license and must have reliable transportation.
● Able to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check.
● A self-starter who works well independently and takes pride in the job.
● Comfortable working around residents with patience, respect, and a friendly attitude.
