Here is a MCS 6502 Turntable, just serviced. (It is basically a Technics SL-23 - same drive system and mechanism, different tone arm and dust cover.) It is a belt drive semi-automatic turntable with stroboscope and speed controls, with simulated wood grain plinth. (MCS was the Montgomery Ward store brand, various stereo items made for them by name manufacturers, in this case, by Technics.)
It has an Audio Technica cartridge which is sounding very good. The original 45 record adapter is included. I have lubricated it and adjusted the auto-return mechanism - all working nicely. The dust cover has typical light scratches on the top, could be significantly improved by polishing. This is a very decent inexpensive turntable ready for long term use. Please send your phone number via craigslist email, I'll call (from area code 209) to arrange meeting.
