We’re a growing catering company serving burgers, chicken, tacos, sandwiches, and more at live on-site events and drop-off catering orders. We’re busy almost every weekend and are building a reliable team of cooks to keep up with demand.
The Role
We’re hiring 2 to 3 experienced part-time cooks to work weekend catering events. You’ll run the flat top, cook high-volume orders, and keep service moving in a fast-paced, live-event environment. This is a great fit for working line cooks or culinary students looking for steady weekend hours.
Responsibilities
Operate the flat top grill and cook burgers, chicken, and other menu items to spec
Keep up with fast-paced, high-volume service at live events
Prep ingredients and set up cooking stations before service
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Help load, unload, and set up equipment and supplies at event sites
Break down and clean the station and equipment after service
Work well with the team and communicate clearly under pressure
Requirements
Previous kitchen or line cook experience, with flat top or grill experience strongly preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced food service environment
Weekend availability (this is the priority)
Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license to get yourself to event sites on time
Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs when needed
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a mobile or outdoor setup
Reliable, punctual, and dependable. We count on you showing up.
Ability to communicate in English
Nice to Have
Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages)
Catering or event cooking experience
Culinary students near the end of their program with some hands-on kitchen experience
Food handler card (or willingness to get one)
