Burton Skeleton Key Camber Snowboard SpecsThe Burton Skeleton Key is a directional, freeride-focused snowboard built to handle everything from deep powder to hardpack groomers.
Bend Profile:
Directional Camber. It features entry rocker in the elongated nose for effortless powder float, paired with standard camber underfoot and through the tail for high-speed edge hold and carving stability.
Shape:
Tapered Directional (10mm taper). A slightly wider waist and narrower tail allow the rear of the board to sink naturally in soft snow while maximizing nose drive.
Flex:
Medium-stiff, directional flex pattern that concentrates snappy pop in the tail while keeping the nose resilient for smoother navigation over rough terrain.
Core:
Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox profiling. This utilizes alternating lightweight and strong woods to maximize energy transfer outward from beneath the feet.
Base:
Sintered WFO base. A high-density, wax-absorbent material that provides premium glide and durability.
Mounting Interface:
The Channel®.
Burton Genesis EST Bindings Specs
The Burton Genesis EST is an elite-level, all-mountain binding engineered for maximum plush comfort, a fluid lateral foot-roll, and rapid response.
Mounting System:
EST® (Exclusive Technology). Hardware mounts on the outside edges rather than underfoot, eliminating rigid dead spots under your boots and allowing the board to flex naturally.
Note:
These are exclusively compatible with snowboards featuring The Channel® mounting track.
Highback:
Canted Living Hinge™ highback with a Kickback Hammock. The dual-component design wraps closely around the heel cup, providing immediate suspension and dampening vibration while maintaining strong edge-to-edge power.
Baseplate:
Composite nylon blended with 30% short-glass for balanced, predictable all-mountain flex and response.
Cushioning:
SensoryBED™ or full-bed EVA cushioning systems provide elite shock absorption for heavy landings and reduce foot fatigue on long riding days.
