Full 1-piece riding leathers, covers from neck to ankles- very good condition, stored indoors -- leather is still pliable. Thick padding sewn into knees and elbows, reinforced back and shoulders, ventilated at armpits, fully lined, accordion pleating for flexibility across lower back. Five brass zipper: wrists, ankles and front.
COLOR: dark blue with red/white/red stripe on outer arms and legs. Patch on right breast- B&G. The only info I have on the maker is 'Virginia' who had a good reputation and made leathers for lots of MRA racers (Mountain Roadracing Association back in the day). These were state of the art many years ago; now they are just seriously good looking protection. Approx. size 31 inseam by 35 waist.
DUTCH AUCTION - price began at $399; will decrease a little at a time until sold; now ONLY $210.
BOOKMARK THIS AUCTION!
These will increase your safety at least 100%, and fun at least 250% ... the skills increase is up to you, but these will help keep you safe and scratch-free if you do take a spill.
NOTE- These are NOT up to current CE-1 or CE-2 protection standards, no air bags or armor, so they cannot be certified for sanctioned track racing, BUT will serve well for canyon-blasting or casual riding at any speed... they are quite sturdy and will stand up to "Horrific Abuse." Let's hope you never find out... but if you do, these will serve you well, and keep you intact! The only things missing -- a helmet, boots, and gloves... and a brain, of course.
