We are an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to youth athletic development and preserving Hellenic cultural heritage. We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Fundraising & Development Manager to lead our donor outreach, corporate sponsorships, and grant initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Sponsorships & Major Gifts: Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, community leaders, and business sponsors.
- Events & Campaigns: Plan and execute annual fundraising galas, athletic tournaments, and digital giving campaigns from concept to wrap-up.
- Grants & Foundations: Research, write, and submit grant proposals to cultural, youth, and community foundations, tracking deadlines and reporting.
- Community Outreach: Represent the organization at community events and maintain warm, ongoing communication with our supporter base.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in nonprofit fundraising, sponsorship sales, grant writing, or event management.
- Deep familiarity with Hellenic culture, traditions, and Greek-American community organizations and networks.
- Fluency or conversational proficiency in Greek (written and spoken) is strongly preferred.
- Self-directed, persuasive communicator who thrives on relationship-building.
