We are seeking a motivated, hardworking, and reliable Full-Time Assistant for the next 6/9 months to help renovate and manage three properties in the Glens Falls area.You will work directly with the owner to fix up both residential and commercial spaces to prepare them for rent. This position starts as a hands-on construction assistant but has strong potential to transition into a permanent Property Management role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
-Renovation Support: Assist with basic home improvement, remodeling, and repair work alongside the owner.
-Property Preparation: Handle cleaning, organizing materials, and prepping sites for turnover.
-Digital Operations: Use computer proficiency to assist with listing, marketing, and managing rentals for both residential and commercial units.
-Independent Tasks: Complete assigned tasks independently once given direction.
Requirements:
-Experience: Basic construction or handyman experience is required. Advanced skills are a major plus.
-Tech Literacy: Proficient with computers (navigating listing sites, email, basic spreadsheets).
-Soft Skills: Highly organized, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.
-Transportation: Reliable transportation to get to job sites around Glens Falls.
Compensation & HoursType:
***Full-Time (Temporary 6-month contract with permanent property management potential).
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based entirely on your construction experience and skill level.
