The engine burns no oil. The battery is excellent and gives a useful 53 miles range in the summer and ten less than that on a cold winter day. It charges overnight on a 110 volt wall plug. The tires have lots of tread. A 110 volt charge cord is included.
A full charge overnight with an empty battery costs me $2.40 at Pacific Power rates. That converts to the equivalent of 100 gasoline MPG.
The car has no squeaks or rattles, no scratches, dents or stains, is very clean. The back hatch space is huge with the back seats folded up or down.
This car is surprisingly powerful. Acceleration is very controllable and quit quick if you want it to be when in either full battery mode or hybrid mode. Highway passing is never an issue in either mode.
