Elite Power Wash LLC is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of work vehicles, pressure washing equipment, and related machinery to keep operations running efficiently.
The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and capable of diagnosing and repairing equipment with minimal supervision. This position may also assist with fleet washing and field operations when needed.
Responsibilities
-Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company work trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
-Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and minor engine issues.
-Perform scheduled fluid checks and top-offs, including:
-Engine oil
-Coolant
-Transmission fluid
-Brake fluid
-Power steering fluid
-Windshield washer fluid
-Inspect vehicles for preventative maintenance needs and safety concerns.
-Service and repair pressure washers, pumps, hoses, reels, surface cleaners, water tanks, and related equipment.
-Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and in the field.
-Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
-Order or communicate parts and supply needs.
-Ensure all company equipment remains clean, organized, and operating safely.
-Assist with vehicle washing and fleet services when operational needs require.
-Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience preferred (automotive, diesel, fleet, or equipment maintenance).
-Experience troubleshooting gasoline and diesel engines is preferred.
-Experience servicing pressure washers or commercial cleaning equipment is a plus.
-Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
-Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
-Reliable transportation to and from work.
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Ability to lift 75 lbs or more.
-Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
-Ability to stand, kneel, bend, crawl, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-Professional attitude with accountability, ownership, and reliability.
-Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
-Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as business demands.
