Hi, I’m an experienced tutor working in Glendale and the surrounding areas. Kids like me so new students find themselves at ease with me quickly. This is helpful because children who are relaxed learn faster and retain more. I usually help kids who are experiencing some difficulties. Sometimes I teach students who are keeping pace but want to move ahead of grade level. Your child’s learning pace and other needs inform my tutoring strategy for them. Normally, I work with four- to ten-year-olds, but I make appropriate exceptions.
Although I’ve been teaching students privately for years, I’ve also gained experience with Academic Advantage (“No Child Left Behind”) and Grade Potential. I have B.A. and M.A. degrees.
I have a large selection of educational and fun books. Sometimes I use games as part of my teaching.
