I provide 3D CAD modeling and CAD drafting support for manufacturers, fabricators, designers and small businesses. My background includes 11+ years of mechanical and marine product-development experience, with practical involvement in fabrication and assembly.
Available CAD support:
- 3D parts and assemblies developed from your sketches, dimensions or existing designs;
- sheet-metal and welded-assembly modeling and documentation;
- 2D detail and assembly drawings, shop drawings, sections and bills of materials;
- conversion of existing drawings and marked-up PDFs into editable CAD;
- equipment layouts, exploded views and assembly illustrations;
- stair and railing detailing in CAD from designs supplied by the responsible designer or licensed professional, as applicable;
- drawing revisions and documentation updates for existing projects.
Tools: SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
Deliverables are agreed for each project and may include native CAD files, STEP models, DXF/DWG files and PDF drawings. Small assignments and more involved assemblies are welcome, subject to scope review.
Base rate: $50/hour. Final pricing depends on project scope and complexity.
Based in Glendale, CA. Remote CAD services available throughout the United States for projects that do not require site visits.

CAD modeling and drafting only. I do not offer licensed professional engineering or stamping services. Where licensed engineering is required, the client must engage an appropriately licensed professional; I can provide CAD support under their direction. Structural calculations and permit approval are not included in this offer.
