Position Summary
The Packaging Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with the preparation, packaging, labeling, and organization of finished goods for distribution. This role supports daily production and fulfillment operations by ensuring products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Packaging & Production Support
Package finished products according to established SOPs and work instructions
Assemble packaging materials (bags, jars, boxes, labels, seals, etc.)
Weigh, fill, seal, and label products accurately
Perform visual quality checks to ensure packaging integrity and consistency
Assist with re-packaging, relabeling, or special customer orders as needed
Labeling & Compliance
Apply correct labels, batch numbers, and lot codes
Verify labeling accuracy against work orders and production tickets
Follow all compliance, safety, and quality control guidelines
Maintain clean and organized packaging workstations
Inventory & Warehouse Support
Assist with staging finished goods for shipping or storage
Help track packaging materials and notify management of low supplies
Support basic inventory counts related to packaged products
Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Safety & Cleanliness
Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
Maintain cleanliness of packaging areas and equipment
Properly handle materials and equipment to prevent damage or contamination
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred
Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments
Familiarity with GMP, food-grade, or regulated product handling (a plus)
Basic math skills for weighing and counting
Forklift or pallet jack experience (optional)
Work Environment
Warehouse or production facility
Fast-paced, hands-on work environment
May require use of PPE depending on task
