The Sales and Stock Associate supports the daily operations of Dreamland Sleep Shop by assisting with warehouse organization, product handling, deliveries, and sales support. This position requires physical activity, attention to detail, a team player, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
Qualifications
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to lift and move mattresses and inventory items safely.
Excellent inventory and organizational skills, computer skills, communication skills between management, staff and customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and organized.
Willingness to learn retail sales, product knowledge, and warehouse operations.
Valid driver's license is a requirement and be comfortable driving a commercial delivery truck.
Previous retail, warehouse, delivery, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
Duties
Provide support to Sales Staff, assisting customers with pick ups, organizing items to go our for delivery, maintaining and organizing inventory levels in store and warehouse.
Welcome customers, answer questions with clear communication and professional phone etiquette, and recommend products based on customer needs.
Operate Shopify POS system, process payments, handle cash, and use basic math to complete transactions accurately.
Assisting Sales Staff with inventory intake on Shopify system, merchandizing products, maintain an orderly sales area, and coordinate tasks with colleagues using sound time management and organizational skills.
Work as a team player with Management and Sales Staff.

Required: Customer service, communication, attention to detail, receiving inventory, being able to organize inventory, listen to instruction, basic math, cash handling, and POS skills support accurate transactions and helpful product guidance. English proficiency, time management, organization, and professional phone etiquette help you manage daily tasks and customer interactions. Preferred: Retail sales, sales, technology sales, product demonstrations, merchandising, and upselling experience are advantageous.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
