Sweetwater on 16th Apartments is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team for immediate hire.
We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable, and hands-on maintenance professional who has strong experience in multifamily apartment maintenance and is comfortable handling a wide variety of repairs and property needs.
The ideal candidate will be HVAC certified and well-rounded in all areas of apartment maintenance, including:
• HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Plumbing repairs
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Apartment unit turns and make-readies
• Appliance repairs
• Drywall and general carpentry
• Subfloor repairs and replacement
• Flooring-related repairs
• Preventative maintenance
• Work order completion
• General property repairs and upkeep
• Identifying maintenance issues before they become larger problems
We are looking for someone who can work independently, prioritize repairs, troubleshoot problems, and take ownership of completing work correctly and efficiently.
Qualifications
• Prior multifamily/apartment maintenance experience required
• HVAC certification required
• Strong knowledge of apartment plumbing, HVAC, unit turns, and general repairs
• Experience with subfloor repairs strongly preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs without constant supervision
• Dependable, proactive, and organized
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist wherever needed
• Ability to respond to maintenance emergencies as required
