You pull up to white skirting, a wood stair, and a diamond-window door. Grass on both sides. Trees behind the roofline. Off-street parking. The first thing you get is a private entrance, which is the whole point of leaving an apartment.
Inside, the living room is carpeted, open, and already empty. A ceiling fan, a big window with blinds, and enough wall for a sofa and a TV. Step through and the kitchen and dining side switch to wood-look vinyl, so the everyday mess stays off the carpet. Gray walls, white trim, and light from a run of windows down the side.
The kitchen is the part that rents it. White cabinets, a marble-look counter, a stainless sink under the window, a black electric range, a stainless hood, and a full-size black refrigerator. Not a galley. You can cook and still see the living room. Counter space for the coffee maker. Cabinets for a real grocery run.
Three bedrooms, all carpeted, all with a window and a closet. The primary sits off the main living area with its own bath, so it stays separate from the other two. Those two are down the hall, each big enough for a bed, a dresser, and a door that closes. Kids, a roommate, or a guest room. Wire shelving. White doors. Ceiling lights and smoke detectors already in.
Two full baths. The primary has a corner garden tub, a window, a vanity, and a separate walk-in shower with a glass door. The hall bath has a tub and shower combo, a toilet, and a sink, so the other bedrooms are not lining up outside the primary every morning.
