We are seeking an experienced Controller/ Book keeper to lead the accounting and financial operations of a $20 million construction company located in Fullerton . The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
Required Knowledge:
-Knowledge of the % of completion accounting,WIP schedules and job costing.
-Knowledge of construction accounting software Sage 300 and Quick books .
-Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting.
-Understanding of GAAP,Prevailing Wage, Union Requirements and construction-specific compliance.
-On-board new personnel within Quickbooks system for Union
-Configure new Construction projects within QB
-Experience with AP and AR
-General Ledger maintenance and Bank reconciliation
-Primary Duties/Requirements Include but are not limited to:
Payroll
- Billing using G702/G703 Forms
-Certified Payroll reports
-OCIP / CCIP / Wrap Insurance
-Union Labor Compliance
-Payment Applications
-Payment Releases
- Use Tax returns
