Hi there! I’m planning a move to San Francisco around February 1, 2027, and I’m hoping to find a comfortable home and a friendly household near Ocean Avenue and Mission Street. My budget is around $1,000 per month, ideally including utilities.
I’m especially interested in Balboa Park, Mission Terrace, Excelsior, Ingleside, or somewhere nearby with easy access to the 14/14R, 49, K Ingleside, or Balboa Park Station. I’d love to make the Mission a regular part of my life while keeping my everyday routine based in the city.
I work from home for a pediatric healthcare company, so reliable internet and a reasonably peaceful daytime environment are important to me. I’m clean, considerate, and respectful of shared spaces. I enjoy being friendly with the people I live with while also respecting everyone’s privacy and downtime. I’m looking for a welcoming, stable home rather than a party house.
Fitness is a big reason I’m excited about this move. I want to build a healthy routine around strength training, swimming, and hopefully joining a local swim group. I also cook and meal-prep regularly, so dependable kitchen access and a reasonable amount of refrigerator, freezer, and cabinet space would be wonderful. I always clean up after myself and am happy to coordinate kitchen time with housemates.
I have a car, so an available parking space or reasonably reliable street parking would be a big plus. I would prefer a private bathroom, but I’m completely open to sharing a clean bathroom with considerate housemates.
My ideal fit would include:
- A private bedroom
- A private bathroom if available, though shared is okay
- Full kitchen access and some meal-prep storage
- Laundry in the building or nearby
- Parking or manageable street parking
- Convenient access to Muni, a pool, and a gym
- A February 1 move-in, with some flexibility
I can provide proof of income, references, identification, and a deposit after seeing the room, meeting the household, and reviewing a written rental agreement.
If you think I might be a good fit for your home, I’d really enjoy hearing from you. Please include the approximate intersection, rent and utilities, deposit, lease length, parking and bathroom arrangements, and a little about the household. Photos would also be appreciated.
Thanks so much for reading, and I hope to hear from you!
