Williams Defender Arcade video game coin operated from 1980's. Classic vintage collectible arcade game in good condition. Operates, and plays as designed. Overall comments from other collectors of coin operated arcade games about this Defender machine is in pretty good shape for the cabinet. It will have some scratches, but you can't get around that for what the game's can go through. The hand controller knobs, and buttons play good. Some buttons have unfortunately taken some cigarette burns, but do not distract from play ability. There will be some cigarette burns on top of the controller panel, but are away from where your hands will be while playing, and operating the game. I have one receipt of repair from when I acquired the game to get it operating again. I recently have replace the 4 AA battery supply unit with a lithium ion battery and holder. Won't have to worry about any battery corrosion leakage. As far as the operational use of coins (quarters) being used to trigger credits of game play. One side triggers for the most part, but the other side would need some work to get to the cool factor of quarters being used to trigger game credits. The dollar slot (Susan B. Anthony coins) will need work done on it to be operational with coins to trigger game credits. Overall condition is in good shape for game play. Currently set on free play credits. Have electronic schematics of the Defender machine. Please see photos for game condition.
