This listing is for an Erika M typewriter with a QWERTY and scientific/math keyboard. This machine sports the serial number: 889474/M putting it as made in 1940. This machine types in 11-11.5 characters per inch. Please note, this machine doesn't have a case.
This machine was taken apart, cleaned, and adjusted. These Erikas have a snappy feel and this one is no exception. And how cool it has such a unique keyboard. The paper support does not extend due to some damage it has had. Sometimes the carriage return will slightly fail, so you'll need to assist it. During the type sample it was behaving perfectly.
I am selling this from my personal collection as I am slimming down the collection and this machine doesn't get used as much as I would have hoped.
