Schedule: Mon to Thu 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Fri 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Alternate Work Week)
Plastic Depot is a busy plastic fabrication shop in Fremont. We CNC machine, bend, and glue plastic parts and assemblies. We are looking for a detail-oriented Fabrication Associate to clean, deburr, inspect, and pack finished parts while supporting our lead fabricator on the shop floor. This is a great first shop job with hands-on training and room to grow into a skilled fabrication role.
Responsibilities:
• Detailed parts cleaning requiring careful, thorough attention
• Deburr and finish machined plastic parts and assemblies
• Perform final QC inspection of finished parts and assemblies
• Package and prepare finished parts for shipment
• Support the lead fabricator with fabrication tasks, including stamping , engraving, and general shop work
• Use basic shop tools safely: table routers, band saw, table saw, hand deburring tools
• Provide backup support to other shop positions as needed
Requirements:
• Superior attention to detail and good close-range eyesight
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated; able to move from task to task with minimal supervision
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and blueprints (helpful, not required)
• Forklift experience a plus

This role is designed as a stepping stone. Successful assistants work alongside the lead fabricator and have the opportunity to learn CNC machining, fabrication, with corresponding pay increases.
