Uni-Fab Industries is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team. UFI is a rapidly growing manufacturing company with our main facility in Fremont.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Operate Amada Fiber Laser w/Automation.
• Operate Trump Lasers
• Ability to inspect parts coming off the Laser.
• Maintain quality in department
• Daily Maintenance & PM’s of machines
• Problem solver
• Keep department organized
Technical Background: (Required Skillset)
• Must be proficient in Blueprint Reading
• 5+ years’ experience running Lasers
• Able to trouble shoot laser cut parts.
• Knowledge & understanding of the different materials (CRS, SST, Alum)
• Knowledge of machine maintenance a PLUS
KNOWLEDGE OF:
• Materials - Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass, and Copper
• Trade tools, equipment, materials, Calipers, tape measure, methods
• Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds
