This striking original painting is signed “P. Bartczak ’79” and depicts three figures looking out upon a vivid, otherworldly landscape of luminous crystalline forms against an intense deep-blue background.

Peter Bartczak studied art and filmmaking at Pratt Institute before moving to San Francisco in 1972, where he established Clownbank Studio. His long career has encompassed fine art, illustration, murals and commissioned artwork. His clients have included Disney, Universal Studios, Atari, Dell Publishing and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, as well as public-art commissions.
His distinctive work combines accomplished painting and airbrush techniques with surreal imagery, fantasy, humor and imaginative storytelling.
