I'm remodeling a 1969 double-wide mobile home in Fremont and am looking for an experienced, independent kitchen designer to help develop a functional, attractive, and economical kitchen layout.
I've already measured the space and prepared floor plans. I also have a preliminary IKEA kitchen design and itemized cabinet estimate, but I'm not satisfied with the proposed layout and cabinet selections.
I'm looking for someone who can:
- Visit the home and evaluate the existing space.
- Help explore different kitchen layouts and cabinet arrangements.
- Recommend practical storage solutions, cabinet sizes, and countertop options.
- Develop a dimensioned kitchen plan that I can use to obtain competitive quotes from different cabinet suppliers.
- Work independently of cabinet sales or installation.
This is a **design-only project**, not a request for construction or cabinet installation.
Please respond with your experience, examples of previous kitchen designs, your hourly rate or project fee, and your availability for an onsite consultation.
Experience designing smaller kitchens or manufactured homes would be a plus.
