This piano is an excellent example of Steinway's "Golden Age" period of piano making. Here is the information regarding Piano was manufactured in 1904 in New York.
New Mahogany finish in excellent condition. All hardware has been replated is polished brass.
The Steinway patented Accelerated Action (upgraded at the factory in 1941)has been fully rebuilt with new hammers, shanks & flanges and wippens according to a modified" Stanwood Precision Touch Design" protocol giving a quick, even touch and balanced tone.
Hammers were custom made to match weight and dimensions of the originals.
The soundboard and plate have been refinished, the pin block replaced, Piano has been restrung with new strings, tuning pins, damper felts. Custom wound
G C bass strings installed.
Classic "picture frame" detail on legs.
Beautiful original ivory keys.
A jewel of a piano suitable for the most discerning professional musician.
