Hi! I'm Ms. De Moor. I am here to help your child thrive. I offer targeted instruction in all subjects to elementary students of all grade levels. My tutoring services are offered online so that your child can learn in the comfort of their own space.

I went on to represent the district in the Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year competition, where I was a semifinalist. LA County is the largest regional education agency in the country, supporting nearly 2 million students.
• Credentialed to teach all ages and all subjects, including math, science, social studies, history, reading, writing, and more.

• Reading instruction Nothing will undermine a child's motivation and ability to learn as much as falling behind in reading. And few things will have a greater impact on their adult lives so much as mastering reading at an early stage of their learning careers. I have made it my personal mission for nearly three decades to help as many children as I can to not only keep up, but to excel in this most foundational skill.
• STEAM education I was embraced STEM/STEAM in its earliest days of introduction into the public school discourse. I was assigned to the team that first developed STEAM curriculum in our district, and was ultimately one of a handful of teachers who opened our first STEAM School of Choice.
• English Learners I spent my career in a heavily bilingual community, and have had many students who were just getting started with the English language when they entered my classroom. I am very proud of the success I had in guiding these children on to the path of mastering a new language.
• Special Needs Learners Children who struggle learning disabilities and other difficulties require support not only from their teachers, but from families. Over my career, I've helped guide numerous families to create and sustain support systems that allow their young learners to benefit most from school and private instruction.
• Online Instruction In my STEAM classroom, we were already working regularly with the types of tools that wouldn't become household words until the Pandemic forced them on everyone without notice. We had a smooth transition to distance learning, and I was able to use the knowledge and experience I already had to lead our district's transition. I continued online instruction for myriad families who continued to need these services into 2023. Online instruction was a specialty for me well before I retired from classroom instruction.
