Although I closed gas valve and ran generator until out of gas it still fouled up the carburetor sitting in my shed. I'm 70 years old with advanced heart failure. Even though it's very easy to replace a carburetor on a small engine even if you've never done it before I no longer have the strength or time to do such things.

It's great on a camp site. Not nearly as noisy as big generators. It's a solid generator for the price. Low hours on usage meter.
