Looking for 3-5 computer testers to help us get our software checked out prior go going live in apple store and larger advertising promotions. Software/site is community and social based, and much of work is around communication so key for this position is being available when others are to join meetings, test things like attending web conference, trying out chat, joining groups, posting etc and making sure everything is working as expected. we already have computer testing but we also need some real people .
We are really looking for local frederick area people mostly because we would like them to help also find some local business and other local people to help find and do more testing. like helping find a store or business person and helping us communicate with them through our system and help discover what is or is not working for them, or broken or working with families or others.
Position starts as volunteer/unpaid in initial intern training and can transition to paid for the right person. key in this position is less technical and more about being available in eves and weekends, participating in events and testing and being interactive. this is not a passive do what you want when you want - but some of that also.
