Selling my 2000 Acura integra. 190k miles, 5 speed manual, skunk2 coilovers, “poor mans type r” front brakes, Hasport torque mounts, revel (formerly Tanabe) exhaust, tire rack wheels (15x7 +42) and Bridgestone tires.
Front brakes are base model mini cooper rotors, integra type r calipers, Acura tax pads and stainless brake lines. All were and can be purchased from rock auto.
Car runs and drives well. A/c works and heat works. Paint is okay at best. It cleans up well and looks good from 30 feet away but you can tell it’s had a repaint at some point.
With the Hasport mounts, even though they’re the softest (street) mounts, there is quite a bit of noise/vibration when at idle and when driving. If you’ve ever been in or driven a car with aftermarket engine mounts you’ll know what I mean.
The emergency brake doesn’t work. It technically does work but the emergency brake mechanisms on the rear calipers will seize/stick when used and it won’t release so I just don’t use the e brake.
Small rust bubbles/spots starting to form under the fuel door. I’ll get a pic and update the ad soon
At some point previous to me buying the car, the front left was run into by a lady in a parking lot. It cracked the headlamp and chipped the paint on the fender. The headlamps were really yellow so I just replaced them. I’ll update the ad and add some pics of the remaining damage.
The car is a good car, I just don’t have much use for it any more and I hardly ever drive it. I have a 1990 I’d like to start spending some time on and I’ll likely be buying a commuter car in the near future and I’d like something more “commuter friendly” as far as comfort and space is concerned. The car will get 35mpg highway like clockwork and I wouldn’t hesitate to take it anywhere as long as speed bumps aren’t involved.
