The daily responsibilities of a MATERIAL HANDLER are clearly described as:
1. Baseline – Manage raw materials and finished goods.
2. Assign raw materials to designated areas for production (maintain).
3. Receive defective bottles and transport them to grinding rooms.
4. Understand the difference between useable and unusable regrind and place in the proper gaylords
5. Grind defective bottles into gaylords for reuse.
6. Wrap finished goods and place wrapped goods in warehouse with sit down forklift
7. Be trainable when it comes to learning how to resupply labeler, strap and fix jam ups
8. Ensure previous shift has maintained production floor, disposed of all trash, and logged weight of accumulated scrap. Findings must be presented to the supervisor for further attention.
9. Ensure the previous shift has transported all finished goods to warehouse for delivery. Findings must be presented to the supervisor for further attention.
10. Be capable of loading trucks
11. Ensure all duties are performed with the maximum level of safety and quality.
