73lb Lakeside anvil. Excellent condition with attached tripod stand. 3/4" hardy with 1/2" Pritchard. 19" overall with an excellent face and horn. Anvil and stand will separate for easy transport.
Lakeside anvils were sold by Montgomery Ward. They had 3 different manufacturers. This anvil has two 2's under the horn which identifies it as a Hays. Hays have been recognized by blacksmiths as quality anvils and are highly desired. Anvils with one 2 signifies it's a Hays. The second 2 identifies it has had an additional quality control inspection which increases its value.
