Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for flexible, project-based work. This is an ideal position for someone looking for supplemental income or a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, or daytime hours) with the ability to turn around projects quickly when customer demand arises.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with heavy industrial materials, including fiberglass fabric with vinyl facing and lining.
* Accurately measure and cut materials using a rotary fabric cutter.
* Assemble panels, attach vinyl components, and stitch Velcro flaps in place to precise specifications.
* Manage workflow efficiently to meet occasional fast-turnaround customer orders.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Prior experience operating heavy-duty industrial sewing machines (experience with marine canvas, heavy upholstery, or industrial materials is strongly preferred).
* Ability to work flexible, on-demand hours based on project volume.
* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
* Ability to lift and maneuver heavy rolls or fabric panels (up to 30–40 lbs).
* Complete training on our specific product design and assembly will be provided.
Schedule & Work Environment:
* Flexible / Project-Based (Part-Time / As-Needed)
