DS Jordan Construction is seeking a dependable, multi-skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform repair and maintenance work at commercial client locations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in finish quality, can troubleshoot before replacing parts, communicates professionally and is comfortable moving between different types of service calls. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance technician or handyman who can handle a broad mix of repairs without needing constant direction.
What You Will Work On:
• Painting, patching, caulking and finish repairs
• Carpentry, cabinetry, doors, trim and hardware
• Tile, grout and minor wall/floor finish repairs
• Lighting replacement and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting and routine maintenance
• General commercial handyman repairs and preventative maintenance
• Work-order documentation, photos and client communication
What We Are Looking For:
• Hands-on commercial maintenance or multi-trade repair experience
• Strong painting/finishing and carpentry skills
• Practical troubleshooting ability for lighting, electrical and HVAC issues
• Clean, professional workmanship in occupied spaces
• Dependable attendance, organization and follow-through
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations
• Safety-minded judgment and willingness to escalate work that requires a licensed trade
