Job Description
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assemblers to join our growing team specializing in the assembly of power distribution equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for building and wiring a variety of power assemblies, including (but not limited to) Camlock panels, generator docking stations, load bank stations, and Camlock connection boxes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to read wiring schematics, and hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly or related work.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble, wire, and test electrical power assemblies and distribution products.
• Build and install components that may include breakers, connectors, switches, relays, busbars, and Camlock connections into enclosures.
• Follow drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks including drilling, tapping, cutting, and mounting components.
• Label and organize wiring according to electrical and safety standards.
• Perform quality control checks and functional testing of completed assemblies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues or discrepancies.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards for workmanship.
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts and provide feedback to improve efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
Required:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, panel building, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment (e.g., multimeters).
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to lift - up to 100 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Preferred:
• Vocational or technical certification in electrical or mechanical assembly.
• Experience working with Camlock connectors and power distribution products.
• Familiarity with UL 891 or UL 508A standards is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
